Vaping has been in the news for quite some time, so if you are interested in knowing more about vaping or if you recently started vaping and you haven’t figured it out, you have found the right page.

What is Vaping?
Vaping is simply the process of inhaling and exhaling vapor from an e-cigarette or vaping device. Typically, a vaping set-up involves a battery that sends power to a heating element that heats up an eliquid solution in a tank, converting the eliquid into fumes that are breathed in through a mouthpiece. Eliquids, commonly known as ejuice, usually (although not always) contains nicotine, making vaping a satisfying alternative to smoking.

Should I Vape?
If you’re a smoker, you’ve probably heard a lot about vaping or maybe you’ve tried an electronic cigarette, but still haven’t made the switch. We are all aware that cigarettes cause cancer and kill 1 in 5 adults in the United States and the United Kingdom, so most adults start vaping as way to quit traditional combustible cigarettes. Many former smokers have had success with vaping because it helps them quit cigarettes while avoiding the unpleasant effects of nicotine withdrawal. Vaping has become much more popular than nicotine gums and patches because it allows the user to mimic the actions of smoking and provides the user with enough nicotine to satisfy his or her cravings.

Where Do I Start?

1) Cig-A-Likes–Are a popular option for new vapers. Traditionally, cig-a-likes had been disposable, looking like a cigarette; however, JUUL has changed the game. JUUL offers a sleek and modern device that is compatible with disposable pods, each containing nicotine equivalent to that found in one pack of cigarettes. Although cig-a-likes do not offer the performance of other vaping devices, they are an excellent alternative to combustible cigarettes. JUUL is not the only player in the cig-a-like market. Other players, such as Blu, Vuse, and V2 are also currently dominating the cig-a-like market.

2) Mods and Tank–Have helped many former smokers quit cigarettes thanks to the performance, vapor quality, and nicotine delivery these devices are capable of. Typically, with this setup, you have a refillable tank that attaches to a mod (fancy name for a battery), allowing you to fine-tune the amount of vapor that your heart desires. Also, this setup allows the user to choose what type of eliquid will go into his or her tank. There are many brands out there, the most famous of which are: SMOK, Vaporesso, Innokin, Aspire, Suorin, Joyetech, Smoant, etc.

3) Advanced Devices–Experienced vapers may sometimes progress to more advanced devices and tanks that allow the user to essentially build the atomizer tank and replace certain parts to further fine-tune the device to achieve the desired vaping experience. Some claim that advanced devices have allowed them to stay away from traditional cigarettes while saving money in the long run. If you’re new to vaping, you shouldn’t concern yourself with advanced vaping devices, but it’s good to know they are out there for the future. The devices include: mechanical mods, drippers (RDAs), RTAs, and Squonkers.
